Candra struggled with self-esteem issues and rebellion that led her down a very dark path.

Becoming sexually active at twelve and pregnant by fifteen was just the beginning. Her lost and wandering soul led to date rape, pregnancies and substance abuse. Physical, emotional and mental abuse also became her close aquaintances’. She knew something had to be done to break the cycle. “It was at a point where I knew if I didnt walk away from the dysfunction, I could be dead…” Her self destructive behaviors led her back to her first love that she had known as a litle girl.
