I couldn’t let this day pass without sending a HUGE congratulations to R. Marcos Taylor on the opening weekend of his role as Suge Knight in the new movie, Straight Outta Compton. Marcus, I pray that your success exceeds your wildest dreams and that this leads to many more opportunities for you. I have observed your hard work and dedication since we were kids when you would show up at summer camp in full gear, demonstrating all of your martial arts moves to whoever would pay attention. Your career reflects your hard work and I know that as you continue to submit your work to the Lord, there are no limits for you. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement over the years. Whenever I work out and I feel any pain, I can still hear your voice as my trainer saying, “That’s a personal problem.” LOL! You never really showed any mercy, did you?
